Mission accomplished in less than 48 hours!

Thanks to the immediate response of thousands of people from the city of Patras, as well as people from all over Greece, we have managed to gather in less than 48 hours, the immense amount of 85.327 Euros, which was required for 12-year-old Nikolia’s life changing journey to the city of Hanover, where she will be subjected to a surgical resection of her tumor. Currently, we are processing all of the donations, while they will be posted in detail on Nikolia’s aid campaign page, within the next few days.
We kindly thank you for the support you have shown towards this family, who are overwhelmed by the compassion you have demonstrated throughout their ordeal. Within just 2 days, we have managed to achieve the unachievable!
Now, Nikolia has to fight the biggest of her life. We truly hope that the surgery will have the best possible outcome, and that she’ll soon return to Greece, healthy and happy!
Our beloved Nikolia, our thoughts and prayers are with you! We will be anxiously waiting for any development!

Together, we have managed to get some weight off Vaggelis’ shoulders!

Thanks to your defining contribution, we have managed to support Vaggelis throughout one of the most challenging periods in his life. The 43-year-old man, who for the past year, has been experiencing health problems and has been unable to cope with his daily expenses, is now feeling more optimistic about his future. To this day, we have managed to gather the sum of 4.672,76 Euros, which was used in order to cover the cost of Vaggelis’ essential needs.

Little Maria’s surgery was a complete success!

Maria from Ouranoupoli was recently subjected to a surgery that was performed in a clinic of Paris and according to the specialized surgical team who took on this challenging case, everything went well, since they managed to remove the ganglioneuroblastoma, without damaging the surrounding nerves and vessels.
From the moment we got informed about Maria’s case, we did everything in our power in order to send this little angel to Paris. Thanks to the initiative and direct action of the Association Charitable Voluntary Actions Empathy, the moving mobilization of the local community of the Municipality of Aristotle Halkidiki, as well as thousands of people from all over Greece and abroad, we have managed, in just a few days, to achieve the unachievable! Maria’s parents are extremely grateful to all of you, for everything you have done for their little girl. They were in despair, however your love and compassion have given them great strength and courage!
Currently, Maria is recovering from the surgery, while she will have to stay in the hospital for many more days, in order to be subjected to the required post-op tests. Our beloved Maria is a fighter and we are confident that she will have a speedy recovery and will soon return to Greece as a winner! We will stand by this family’s side for everything they might need, while keeping you updated on any development.
Once more, we have proven that when we join forces, we can achieve everything!

We have reached our funding goal for little Christina!

Thanks to your immediate response, we have managed to gather on time the amount required for little Christina’s surgery!
Christina is a four-year-old girl who was recently diagnosed with atrial septal defect and main pulmonary artery dilation, while according to the doctors who monitor her condition she had to be subjected to surgery as soon as possible.
Together, we have managed to gather on time the amount required for the family’s transportation and lodging in Athens, where the surgery will be performed.
Christina and her family have already landed in Athens. The little girl has been subjected to all the required pre-op tests, while in a few days she will be subjected to the surgery that will have her life!

We truly hope that the surgery will have the best possible outcome and that this ordeal will soon be nothing more but a bad dream!

Ivana’s second treatment session was successfully completed. We keep on fighting for her recovery!

A few days ago, and thanks to all of you out there, Ivana was successfully subjected to her second treatment session, which was performed in a private clinic in Athens. The second session cost 10.000 Euros, a sum that we wouldn’t be able to raise without your defining contribution.
Ivana is just 15 months old and she has to wear a tracheostomy and a gastrostomy, since she is suffering from a rare form of vascular dysplasia, which extends to the area of the tongue and the pharyngeal wall. This medical case is extremely rare and it cannot be treated in any public hospital in the country.
Thanks to your immediate response, we have managed to gather so far the amount of 30.000 Euros, which was required for her two treatment sessions. However, we are running out of time, since in a few days, the baby will have to be subjected to the third session. Unfortunately, we still haven’t been able to raise the amount that is required for the procedure.
Little Ivana is going through tough times and she needs us by her side. We cannot turn our backs on a suffering baby! So let us join forces and offer this little fighter the chance to remove the stomas and to live a normal life! Together, we can make it happen!

Packing bags for her life-changing journey!

Toys, stuffed animals and all other essentials have been already packed, since our beloved Maria and her mother will be soon departing for their trip to Paris. Thanks to the support of all of you out there, the little girl from Ouranoupoli of Chalcidice, got the chance to embark on this life-changing journey.
Now is the time to fight the greatest battle of her life, while we are all confident she’ll come out a winner!
Tomorrow, mother and daughter will be flying to France, while the little girl will be immediately admitted to the hospital of Paris, in order to be subjected to this life-saving surgery, which will be performed by a team of specialized surgeons.
We hope that everything goes well, while we’ll be anxiously waiting for an update. We are wishing little Maria and her mother Elisavet the best of luck! Our thoughts and prayers are always with you!

We have reached our funding goal for Maria! The little girl will soon travel to Paris, where she will fight the biggest battle of her life!

Our love and compassion became a bridge of life and thanks to all of you out there, the little girl will soon travel to Paris in order to fight for her life! In just a few days, we have managed to gather the amount required for the family’s transportation and lodging in France.
Maria is a three-year-old girl who is facing cancer (metastatic ganglioneuroblastoma of the mediastinum) and is fighting for her life at such a young age.
Due to the location of the tumor, this case cannot be treated in any hospital of the country, therefore the little girl needs to be immediately transferred to France, where a team of specialized surgeons has already agreed to take on this high risk surgery.
Your immediate response has been overwhelming, while the little girl’s parents are extremely grateful for the defining part you have played in their daughter’s rescue.
We would especially like to thank and congratulate the residents of the Aristotelis municipality, who moved into action the minute they got informed about the family’s ordeal. More specifically, the charitable organization “Ensinesthisi”, in collaboration with the local administration of the Aristotelis municipality and the Metropolis of Ierissos, Agion Oros and Ardamerion, managed to gather, thanks to all the residents of the area, the sum of 22.303,81 Euros, which so kindly offered for Maria’s aid campaign.
On behalf of Maria’s family, we would like to kindly thank all of you for your defining support! Your love and compassion has given strength to this family, who are now ready to embark upon this journey of life!

Latest #update regarding Ivana, who is suffering from an extremely rare condition!

About two months ago, and thanks to all of you out there, Ivana was successfully subjected to her first treatment session, which cost 19.702 Euros and which was performed in a private clinic of Athens.
Ivana is just 15 months old and she is suffering from a rare form of vascular dysplasia, which extends to the area of the tongue and the pharyngeal wall. The little girl has been suffering daily, since she has been experiencing difficulty breathing and swallowing, therefore she now has a tracheostomy and a gastrostomy. This medical case is extremely rare and it cannot be treated in any public hospital of the country.
Thanks to your immediate response, we have managed to gather the amount that was required for her first treatment session. However, we are running out of time, since we still haven’t been able to gather the required amount for her second treatment session, which will be performed in a few days. Till this day, we have gathered 31.817,58 Euros, however the cost of her treatment plan is unbearable and only with team effort, will it be gathered on time.
Little Ivana needs us more than ever. So let us join forces and offer this little fighter the chance to breathe and to be fed without any stomas! Together, we can make it happen!

Mission accomplished! We have ensured that Georgia has everything she needs until her treatments are completed!

50-year-old Georgia, mother of 3, is facing breast cancer for the second time in her life, 13 years after her first treatment, while she was recently subjected to a radical mastectomy. On top of that, she has been lately experiencing financial hardship; therefore she in unable to cope with the cost of her medicinal care and of her transportation to and from the hospital, where she is being subjected to the necessary treatments. As a result, she was overwhelmed with anxiety, which was taking a great toll on her overall condition.
Thanks to your defining contribution, we have managed, within just a few days, to put an end to her agony, since we have covered all the expenses for her medicinal expendables, as well as her transportation to and from the small town she lives in, until her treatments are finally completed!
Georgia is just a breath away from winning this battle for the second time. We sincerely hope that her treatments will be effective.
Dear Georgia, we wish you a speedy recovery, while we are confident that this ordeal will soon be in the past!
