Employees and Volunteers
Employees and volunteers are a very important “chapter " for the development of our organization. For this reason, particular emphasis is placed on the selection of appropriate human resources, its training, evaluation, maintenance and development.
The organization ensures that its human resources operate on a daily basis in accordance with the values and principles of the “Code of Ethics in the humanities”, with the aim that all actions are governed by the relevant principles of conduct. Indicatively, the contribution to society, legality, transparency, quality of personnel, respect for the environment are mentioned.
An integral part of our activity is our volunteers, who contribute daily to the conduct of basic activities for our proper and uninterrupted operation, with the supervision and support of our professional staff. They participate in various activities and events as well as in the procedures of receiving, sorting and storing items in our facilities, they ensure the hygiene and safety conditions of the premises and often take care of the distribution of goods to various points of the city or Greece. In addition, volunteers and external collaborators scientists and doctors provide their services in order to successfully implement our therapeutic and social programs for children and people with livelihood and health problems.
The volunteers of the "Act of Kindness" Organization belong to various age groups from the age of XXX years and above and are characterized by dynamism, willingness to offer, solidarity and participation in the community. The volunteers enrich the life of the Organization through their action and are a practical example of social participation and action of an active citizen.
The departments of the Act of Kindness Organization which employ employees and volunteers are the following:
–Department of Secretarial and Administrative Support
(people who coordinate and monitor the operation of the organization and carry out all internal, accounting and administrative work)
–Department of Social Supply and Solidarity
(people who help in the smooth operation and maintenance of our social grocery)
–Department of Public Relations and Communication
(people who inform the public about the work and actions of the organization, enter into new partnerships and communications with a view to its smooth operation)
–Department of Programming and Informatics
(people with knowledge in the field of programming, graphic design and social media for the best possible promotion of our work through the internet, internationally)
–Transport Department
(drivers, courier services)
–Department of Medical Services
(Doctors of all specialties, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists)
–Department of social services and psychological support
(psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers)
