On the air of REAL FM, with Bagiopoulos Nikos, we had the chance to engage in a rather interesting conversation, regarding issues of gender-based violence, while discussing the first digital app, which can prevent such incidents from happening.

OLGA (https://olgaforall.gr/) is an app created by our Organization and it’s available for all women living in Greece.

We were truly excited to welcome the minister of Infrastructure and Transportation, Mr. @christosstaikouras, who visited us here at the Organization’s facilities this morning.

The minister was informed about our social work, while he discussed with our representatives regarding the issues our society is facing. He was quite intrigued by our initiative to create OLGA, the first digital app, which allows women who are victims of gender-based violence, to receive help via text messaging. He expressed his admiration for our charity work, while pledging to stand by us!

After an initiative of the Urban Rail Transport’s employees and their soccer team, which is well-known for their charity work, a unique love tournament was held today, at the Acharnaikos stadium in Menidi, in favor of our beloved Aggeliki-Nektaria.

On this charity event were present, the minister of Infrastructure and Transportation, Mr. @christosstaikouras, the mayor of the municipality of Acharnes, Mr. Spiridonas Vrettos, the CEO, Mr. Athanasios Kotaras, the president of Acharnaikos team, Mr. Iliadis Aris, and the orthopedic doctor of Acharnaikos team, Mrs. Athanasiou Pagona, who supported in action our Organization's efforts for our beloved Aggeliki-Nektaria.

Just before the game came to an end, we received an honorary award for our Organization’s multiannual charity work! The award was bestowed by the CEO OF the Urban Rail Transport, who we kindly thank for his touching words.

We kindly thank the Urban Rail Transport’s employees for supporting Aggeliki-Nektaria, a true fighter who nevers stops smiling, in spite of the challenges she has been facing, ever since she was just an infant!

Happy Easter!

Prompted by the awareness event organized by the Hellenic Dental Association, and in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Mrs. Maria-Alexandra Kefala, the Mayor of Konitsa, Mr. Andrea Papaspirou, the head of the Social Welfare Center of the regional unit of Epirus, Mrs. Maria Tsolaki, and other members of the Hellenic Dental Association and the social and educational staff of the Child Protection Facility, we spread joy, love and smiles to our little friends who are hosted in the Child Protection Facility of Konitsa and Pogoniani.

Through this small act of kindness, we had the chance to talk and play with the children, and to exchange wishes for a happy Easter, hoping to see them again soon!

 

Two veteran teams played for a good cause, driven by the concept of solidarity and humanity. The two teams, PAS Acheron Kanallaki F.C. and Souli Paramythia F.C., met on 27th of April at the Municipal Stadium of Kanallaki, to compete in a friendly game, which was held in honor of Dimitris who had gone missing. Shortly before the beginning of the match, our Organization was honored by an award, bestowed by the head of the Social Welfare Center of the regional unit of Epirus, Mrs. Maria Tsolaki, who we kindly thank for her social offer.

We kindly thank PAS Acheron Kanallaki F.C, as well as the hosts, Mr. Christos Christodoulos and Mr. Filippos Plaikopanos, for the excellent collaboration, for their warm hospitality and for this great honor! Today we visited the beautiful region of Epirus, and prompted by the awareness event organized by the Hellenic Dental Association, we offered Easter presents to our beloved children and teenagers who are hosted in the Child Protection Facility of Konitsa and Pogoniani. 

In the presence of the Deputy Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Mrs. Maria-Alexandra Kefala, the Mayor of Konitsa, Mr. Andrea Papaspirou, the head of the Social Welfare Center of the regional unit of Epirus, Mrs. Maria Tsolaki, and other members of the Hellenic Dental Association and the social and educational staff of the Child Protection Facility, we offered toys, clothes and Easter candles to all children. After spending time with them, we said our goodbyes, while exchanging wishes for a blessed Easter! 

We are looking forward to seeing them again soon!

 

The middle school students of Anatolia College, chose the 18th International Marathon Alexander the Great, in order to perform an act of kindness and to support our Organization’s efforts!

Our little friends are a true inspiration for a future guided by the concept of solidarity and selfless offer, while reminding us just how great it is to fight for a better future!
