44-year-old Nena from Thessaloniki, who is the mother of a 4-year-old boy, is fighting for her life, since she was diagnosed 5 months ago with an aggressive type of cancer in her right breast. She has just completed the 8th cycle of her chemotherapy treatment, while she is being hospitalized in a public anti-cancer hospital. Due to the fact that her cancer is fast-growing, she must be immediately subjected to a double mastectomy, in order to prevent metastasis to other vital organs. However, the public hospital has a long waiting list and time is of the essence, since any delay could be fatal for the young mother. Her only chance in surviving is by having the surgery as soon as possible. She has already been in contact with a highly experienced surgeon, who can perform the surgery without any delay, in a private clinic in Thessaloniki. However, the cost of the procedure and hospitalization amounts to 23,700 euros, a sum that Nena cannot possibly gather on her own. 

Nena must win this battle! Her 4-year-old son needs his mother. If we all join forces, we can make it happen!
