Konstantinos-Marios is an 11-year-old boy, who has been facing severe health problems since birth. When the little guy came into this world, he developed jaundice and a few days later he was diagnosed with biliary atresia. Even though he had been subjected to a surgical procedure, he was still developing jaundice, and as time went by, his bilirubin levels would increase more and more.

At that point, the doctors who monitored his condition strongly suggested that he would be immediately subjected to a liver transplant, which took place at a university clinic of Hamburg. The first transplant was unsuccessful, since the little guy rejected the transplanted organ. However the next transplant was in fact successful. Ever since the transplant, Konstantinos-Marios has been receiving medication, while he has to travel once a year to Hamburg, in order to be subjected to post-transplant tests.

In about a month, Konstantinos-Marios will have to travel one more time to Hamburg. However, after all these years, his family has come to a dead-end, therefore they are unable to cope with the cost of their transportation and lodging, as well as the cost of their child’s health-related expenses.

Little Konstantinos-Marios has been facing an ordeal since the day he was born. Today however, he needs us by his side. Any small gesture will be more than enough in order for us to send this little fighter to Hamburg! Together, we can make it happen!
